Renal Technician needed
Our client requires a renal technician for their new 8 bed renal unit.
Market related salary based on experience
Critical Outputs:
- Exercise timeous and accurate report writing
- Accurate charging for the utilisatin of renal consumables
- Assessment of patients dry weight and dialysis prescription
- Ensure all dialysis procedures are carried out using clean techniques
- Knowledge into renal water treatment systems (reverse osmosis)
- Assist with patient education and arrange professional social support where needed
- Knowledge and experience into both chronic and acute dialysis treatements (HD, CRRT, Plasmaphresis and Peritoneal dialysis)
Qualifications/Skills:
- Applicant needs to be a Renal Technician registered with HPCSA
- Experience in Dialysis essential
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant courses done will be an advantage
-The ability to supervise sub ordinates and manage unit work load
