Position: Chef (HMR Specialist)
Requirements:
Hospitality Management, BSc Consumer Science, Food Tech Diploma or food related qualification.
2 – 3 years working experience within similar field
Driver’s Licence
Competencies:
Planning and organising ability
Formal Presentation Ability and Business Acumen
Customer Service Orientation, Quality Focus and Drive
Time Management and good communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
1.Store Openings
Pick up information on store opening from sales reps, sector head or market sources, diarize date, and contact numbers
Assist as required by checking details, planning accordingly, getting involved and following up
2.Promotions and Demos
Liaise with Sector Heads to establish client needs
Plan, schedule and organise promotion or demo in consultation with relevant parties
Liaise with reps to track results thereof
3.Training
Discuss training needs with Sector Head and Sales Force
Prepare for training
Conduct training and an in store follow up visit to monitor application of learning
4.Client Value Add
Build relationships with individual clients
Offer value added strategic HMR solutions
Communicate store HMR needs to relevant Sales Rep
Visit stores and check on HMR practices
5.Sales Rep Assistance
Attend regional sales meetings and provide input on HMR products, market information and activities
Assist reps to build HMR business with clients
6.Product Development
Communicate new product development needs to HMR Manager
Assist NPD by communicating relevant requirements
